My happy place is in the kitchen cooking. It’s how I de-stress, get creative and show my love for others. Food to me has always been something that excites me and it represents happy times I’ve shared with friends and family.
Believe it or not, I refused to eat anything red or green until I was 14 so there is hope for us all!
It wasn’t until I reached my 30s that I started to gain immense respect for the healing power of food.
I have had my own health issues over the years and had to watch my weight but I can truly say that making some simple adjustments and creating new habits in my diet and lifestyle have worked long term so that I am symptom-free.
